Marble is calcite (calcite) or dolomite stone recrystallization grains at high temperatures and pressures. This marble attribute distinguishes the rock’s character as a metamorphic rock relative to sedimentary calcareous rock.

Marble Colours

Despite marble’s natural structure; the colors range from pure white to black onyx. This natural character makes marble unique and no one can look just like the other.

Different marble colors and patterns produced by mineral impurities, such as marble containing hematite, are reddish in color, limonite marble is white, and serpentine marble is green in color. Such specific impurities decide the color of marble during metamorphism under high pressure and temperature.

Marble Finishes

Slabs and tiles of marble are either polished or brushed. Polished tiles, despite being extremely sticky on wet ground, provide a glamorous look. Hence, marble reinforced tiles provide more grip in wet areas and are considered safe.
